By 'embedding' a video's information, you can provide access to several other video sites, such as Vimeo. Backstage already does this - could you add this functionality? Thanks.

We have played around with the idea of other embeds, but the guy that created the video plugin made it to just work with YouTube. We do have future plans to expand this, but nothing in the near future.
