In addition to acting, voiceover work, and playing with Above the Silence, Damia Torhagen is also a writer (stories, plays, and screen plays). She made her playwrighting/composing debut with the Fringe Festival 2013 play, _How to Have It All: The Musical_, which she also costarred in. She made her directorial debut March 2013 with the 48 Hour Film Project entry, Influenced by Discordian Productions (https://vimeo.com/channels/525945/65610448). She holds a security clearance. She acted as a Mandarin consultant for the DC Shorts 2013 nominee short film, Tai Chi Man (http://festival.dcshorts.com/tai-chi-man/).
