Other Skills: About Me: Kathryn Browning is an actress and voiceover artist based in New York and Washington, DC. Born in Phoenix, she grew up in Southern California, then went East to take an honors degree in writing at George Mason University. Before turning to acting, she worked in Washington as a publicist and editorial writer, then as series producer of the weekly PBS politics and policy talk show "Think Tank," hosted by columnist Ben Wattenberg. Forceful, intelligent, and pragmatic on screen, Browning frequently fills classic executive roles – Senator, lawyer, CEO, detective, judge, socialite. Film credits include the Senator in Meghan Reynold's short "The Monopoly Club," Congresswoman Gracie Todd Englewright in the Rob Raffety comedy web series "Capitol South," radio network executive Carol Winstead in Michael Toscano's tale of corruption "The Louder the Better," and Special Justice Helen Rider in Richard Volin's political thriller "Commitment," which screened at the Short Film Corner at the 2012 Cannes International Film Festival. Stage credits include principal roles as the wife, Jacqueline, in the Marc Camoletti bedroom farce "Don' Dress for Dinner" and Stella Morrison in the Terence Rattigan drama "Cause Célèbre," both for The British Players. Television credits include playing a Congresswoman in Season 2 of the hit Netflix series "House of Cards."
